I absolutely love this place. They will order you things if they can and know you'll buy it often, they always have treats for neighborhood dogs and are just genuinely a lovely bunch that run the place. Jake and Leslie are the best. It's average corner store stuff and check the expiration if you're buying something less common but I truly come here for the customer service. They also have a wider range of food and household supplies than a lot of places and their produce (for a corner store) is actually pretty solid and varied in selection. I guess it's called Noe Market but I've always known it as Jake's. Thanks guys!

It has the same or similar groceries, beer and sundries as any other corner store, but (1) it is less expensive than those on Market Street and (2) no two guys care about the neighborhood more than Jake and Les. The type of people who know everyone's name and care about those around them. NOTE: In Duboce Triangle, not in Noe Valley.

Great neighborhood grocer with a nice wine selection too. When you need a grocery item, they are likely to have it - somehow they manage to fit it all into a small store. The owner, Jake, is a very nice guy (and friend to every dog in the neighborhood, too!) and the same goes for Les, who mans the store during evenings and weekends. Noe Grocery is a vital part of the neighborhood and I'm very glad they're there.
